Educational Marijuana Event Coming to Kauai

The first ever educational marijuana event in Kauai is scheduled for September 22 at the Hilton Garden Inn Wailua. Vendors, food and live music will all be part of the event. The day will also feature discussions and presentations by featured speakers.

The uses and benefits of hemp will also be discussed at the event, The Garden Island reports. The goal of the event is to help educate Hawaii residents about marijuana and hemp. It is important for residents to understand how to safely use marijuana as medicine and inform them of the dozens of uses for industrial hemp.

In a press release, Kauai CannCare LLC said, “KauaiCannCare LLC is committed to raising awareness and educating people about the benefits and uses of medical cannabis and industrial hemp for patients and residents of Kauai. Despite many historic misunderstandings, cannabis is a safe and effective natural medicine.”
