CEO of Hawaii Medical Marijuana Dispensary Passes Away

William Richardson, CEO of Hawaiian Ethos, passed away from kidney failure that was complicated by a heart condition. Hawaiian Ethos has not commented yet regarding how losing the CEO will affect the company’s future plans.

Hawaiian Ethos is preparing to be one of the Big Island’s first dispensaries, Hawaii Tribune-Herald reports. Those in leadership roles within the company will have more information for patients in the near future regarding the company status.

In a statement, Hawaiian Ethos said, “Our team will preserve the vision and values Bill instilled in the company through continued dedication to serving Hawaii Island patients in the coming years.”

From that statement, it appears that the company plans to continue the plans already in place to open, operate and help patients.
